Engine Torque Damper NB/MK2

Engine (Torque) Damper for NB/MK2/NBFL/MK2.5. This design has been tested with 1.8 NB/NBFL cars without OEM airbox at the moment.

It will work with most setups with aftermarket air filter, as the damper is meant to cross the filter underneath. Please have a look at the pictures and in case of doubt, contact us with pictures of your engine bay to advise.

The direct advantages:

- reduces engine vibrations

- enhances gear shifting

- reduces rattling noise, often present after lightweight clutch change

Stainless steel fasteners tend to gall while being tightened. y " Torque the screws up to 50NM." Thats way too much. M8 needs 25Nm and if the screws are lubricated it's around 20Nm

e you can also consider a stainless steel heat shield to be installed in the rear bumper around the exhaust. I've found a couple of options but made of carbon fiber. You know that I'm not a carbon fiber fan and prefer the stainless theme.

Please be aware that spanish is different depending the country or region. Here in Puerto Rico we are very influenced by the USA and some of our words are described as "spanglish".

ways thought of this idea, when I look at the keyhole, but never came to doing it. Not sure if brushed or mirror polished will suit better there, as of the contract, but I can assure you, I will have this item very soon. As of the indicator/wiper stalks - I have to agree, the alu option is looking good, but you will miss some functionalities and as it is not straight forward DIY job for everyone, I am avoiding producing and releasing it at the moment.
