The flagship of Toyota full size SUVs produced between 2007 and 2021 might look like intemidating car on the outside but this is more true on the inside - there is certainly less head/legroom for the driver than in an average car.
The Jass Performance lowering adapters are utilizing the maximum possible lowering potential of 20mm for a fully loaded seat (adjustment, heating, ventilation etc).
The new driving position helps not only the tallest of all drivers (heights 194+cm) increasing the headroom. It also helps drivers with slightly above average height with the street visibility, as the driving position is more planted underneath the rear view mirror.
The installation involves replacing two rivets with high strenght bolts/nuts (provided) and trimming the tiny side spot welds of the rear seat brackets (tool provided).
Please note, the new lower position does not allow direct use of the rear seat rails trim - it does not fit without modifications with the reduced height. The new seat adapter brackets are compensating for this however with dedicated design to fully engage the cut outs of the floor carpet and with black coded hardware.
