The drainage system of MX5s is well thought out and only rare gets clogged. However, regular clearing of the drainage tubes is recommended, as its easy task, which prevents the unpleasant surprise of water in the car.
The drainage brush is sturdy enough to do the job and compact enough to always carry in the car and use in case of need. To clean the correct routing is to introduce the brush from the top and pull out from the bottom until the water starts freely flowing. This will prevent damage to the bottom valves on NC/ND cars.
This version has sturdier shaft than the market usual metal wire ones and comes with extra ticker plastic coating to prevent any possible damage or metal car paint. The brush is softer so it does not cause damage to the valve at the bottom.
The colour is the plastic coating is blue or red.
