Jass Performance Seat Lowering Fixed Adapters for OEM ND Recaro Seats - 56mm / 2.2" Drop

The Jass Performance Seat Lowering Adapters address the limited interior room in the Mazda MX5 ND/MK4. This version is a straight fit for the optional Recaro model seat and achieves an unbelievable 56mm (2.2 inches) drop while offering a relatively easy at-home installation. This setup uses fixed mounts, providing the lowest possible seating position without seat modifications, making it ideal for taller drivers (e.g., 197cm height with 100cm torso).

Important note: While we also offer lowering adapters preserving the sliding functionality of the OEM seats with the same lowering, this fixed version is more suitable for smaller drivers or drivers who need to fit with their helmet and only need the headroom. The reason for this is the milder rake/tilt of the seat base here - while the rear is lowered to the full amount of 56mm, the front of the seat can drop 22mm lower due to the lack of the sliding rail.

Performance and Positioning

Drop Amount: Extreme lowering of 56mm (2.2").
Seat Type: Designed specifically for the optional Recaro model seat.
Positions: Features 3 predefined fixed positions with a 25mm offset between them to suit drivers with varying leg/torso ratios.
Fixed Mounts: The seat will not slide once fixed in one of the three positions.
Rear Travel: The rearmost fixed position goes further back than the OEM slider's maximum position.
Ergonomics: Ergonomic seating position is carefully considered.

Installation and Reversibility

Installation: Relatively easy to do at home installation.
Seat Modification: No cutting, trimming, or modification of the seats is involved, making the setup fully reversible.
Hardware: All installation hardware and the installation manual are provided.
