The Jass Performance seat lowering kit does amazing job lowering the seat by more than 50 millimeters. However naturally the backrest would need to be raised to match a tall driver body structure - with the head rest, side supports, speakers, belt guides. What it does is to raise the ergonomics of the backrest to where is it meant to be and work, as those seats are compromised for all heights of drivers.

It is meant and recommended for drivers who are always having the seat in the rear most position and the backrest reclined to its maximum to the rear wall. The backrest raising kit profits from removing the tensioners from the backrest, which allows the body to literaly lean on the backwall. There is a "felt" additional headroom with this mod of approximately 30mm (more than an inch) due to the new position of the body. The seat shape is not harmed doing so.

To sum it up, on an lowered ND/Spider seats with this kit you will:

- have corresponding body ergonomics with the side supports raised for your back.

- more headroom

- have correct position for the head rest

- have correct belt guide position

- have correct speaker output position

- preserve the reclining function

- 100% reversible

The kit containes backrest raising brackets, a padded back support finished with black leather, side carpet cushions to replace the OEM plastic side covers, Everything needed for finished look is included.

Please note, it makes sense only, when the tensioners are removed from the backrest. This is easy task and completely reversible.

The kit is a bolt on kit and the installation is fully reversible. There are no downsides using it - the reclining of the backrest functions as usual.
