This is the latest version of the Jass Performance Uprated Shift boot with rubber boot designed for function and appearance especially for MX5s.
Regularly changing the shift boot is annoying and expensive but well know problem with the MX-5s. The OEM ones tend to last a year (on a daily driven cars) and the smell, heat and noise soon again find the quckest way into the passenger compartment.
The Jass Performance upper shift boot is designed to solve the issue with the OEM forever. It comes with stainless fitting hardware.
Two finish options are available for this kit - gloss black and wrinke (texture) black.
The Jass Performance Uprated Upper Shift Boots are direct replacement to the OEM ones for 5 and 6 speed gearboxes and for MK1, MK2 and MK2.5 model /NA, NB, NBFL/ - this means IT DOES FIT with the centre console just like the OEM does (We get this question too often, although already stated and need to additionaly stress it).
