This component is an airflow management device designed to counteract the negative effects of the low-pressure zone that forms over the cabin of a convertible when the top is down. The scoop's primary Function is to introduce a controlled volume of high-pressure air into the cabin, improving occupant comfort and system efficiency.

Functional Benefits
- Cabin Pressure Management: Raises the air pressure within the cabin at higher speeds, which assists in mitigating the strong draft typically experienced from the rear (especially without a wind blocker).
- Air Exchange: Increases the intensity of sensory contact with the external environment (e.g., outside odors) by promoting better air exchange.
- Footwell Ventilation: Directs a considerable volume of fresh air towards the footwell area, improving the efficiency of the OEM fresh air fan, which is often challenged by low cabin pressure at high speeds with the top down.
Installation and Accessories
- Installation: Designed as a plug-and-play solution that installs rapidly with a click onto a corresponding mounting bracket attached at the interior mirror.
- Accessory (NA Concept): A separate sunglasses/credit card holder is available for installation in the same location when the Fresh Air Scoop is not in use.

Compatibility Notes
- Compatibility: Designed for the Mazda Miata/MX5 convertible chassis (NA, NC).
