The radio/control panel of the MX5 NA/MK1 is slightly larger than the standard 2DIN sizing. The two types of adapters Jass Performance has developed provide option to fit nearly any model on the market.
This version of the radio adapter allows the integration of the now common 2DIN full face touch screen radios in a MK1 MX5. It would fit the fill width and height 2DIN units - 180x100mm.
The adapter offers unique adjustable side bolt pattern to securely fix any radio. It allows adjustability of the multimedia unit relative to the tombstone - to position the multimedia further in or out.
Please note, there were few very rare late JDM and US tombstones with the 2DIN cut out - should you have one of those you would obvilouslyu not need 2DIN adapter.
Both cases - please take measures to confirm the size before ordering them.
