Stainless Steel Cup Holders Installation

The installation of the stainless steel cupholder and ashtray frames with integrated el. windows surround is very straight forward, still some tricky points have to be considered:

1. Take off the center console

2. Lay the cup holder over with the el. windows part first, then press the front part down until it engages tight.

3. Mark the holes for drilling in the center console or very carefully with the drill bit. Don't drill with the cup holder in place, as it will most probably get scratched during the work.

4. Place back the cupholder in the same way, place the provided screws in place and place the nuts underneath very loose.

5. The cuts for the el. window switches are very exact any fine adjustment is needed. You need to exactly center the cup holder before tightening the screws, so that the switches are moving easily up and down. You might need to preload a bit the bottom part of the cup holder, as if it is being screwed down already to find the right position.

6. Tighten the nuts.

7. Put back the center console in place.

If you have the bottle opener insert, you might want to connect the cupholder rings to it. They bolt with the provided hardware and the clips down to the ashtray frame.

8. Take a cup of coffee and enjoy your new stainless steel interior touch!:)
