Armrest style door pull for MK1

After the success of the door pulls for MK1, there is big interest for such for the MK1 with the armrest style door handles.
Doorpull with integrated pocket, that is fully utilizing the give securing points is in development.
More details are following in short.

The door pull is going to integrate the existing & successful armrest design and a stable leather pocket, similar to the one found in the MK1 without the armrest.
The door pull connects to the same existing points.

The pocket will reuse the existing fixing points for the armrest - the two bottom ones. Additionally it will connect to the door trim trough bent metal sheet "hooks". This way the installation will be reversible and both, the door trim and the pocket will be completely reusable.

Any comments or ideas on this are welcome at this stage...

The first armrest "replacement pockets" are going into prototyping stage.

Very rough leather pocket prototype. This leather surrounds the metal frame.
The whole attaches only with the provided screws to the door trim.

Were these leather pockets ever released as a product btw? This seems like a great product.
